My journey began early 2020, I created www.life-and-truth.com as a space to question, put my research, and better understand systems that shape our lives. I also created another site PACT for council tax this was before I was introduced to Checkmate the Matrix, It is clear I am no web designer I am self taught so that I can get this information out.

I write under the name Fiona Owens, which is a pseudonym rather than my real name. This choice is intentional, due to the nature of the topics I explore and the work I do. The site exists to document learning, challenge assumptions, and share insights openly, while maintaining a necessary level of personal privacy and independence.

Although it is just me I do aim to have a team so that I can offer more assistance.

Many people can sense that something has fundamentally shifted.

Systems we relied on from energy and supply chains to banking and public services are showing the cracks and signs of strain from people waking up to the deep fraud, disception and coruption.

This doesn’t mean disaster is guaranteed, but it does mean that blind trust is no longer enough. The ability to think ahead, prepare intelligently, and build personal resilience is becoming an essential life skill.

Those who adapt early place themselves in a far stronger position to protect their families, their wellbeing, and their future.

For many, this creates anxiety, fear, and uncertainty about the future. Beyond the practical challenges, the emotional toll can be just as heavy. Constant financial pressure, uncertainty, and fear can quietly affect healt, confidence, sleep, relationships, overall wellbeing and unfortunately suicide which has gone through the roof.

At Life After Debt, we recognise that true resilience isn’t just about strategies and systems it’s also about healing from the stress, shame, and emotional weight that often comes with the poisned food, air and water ontop of debt and prolonged uncertainty.

Life after Debt is helping to create space for clarity, calm, and emotional recovery, all vital part's of rebuilding strength and moving forward with confidence.

Life After Debt exists to help you move from fear to preparedness.

Our main focus is on:

Financial resilience

Practical preparedness strategies

Systems awareness and education

Emotional and mental strength

Community-based support

Calm, informed decision-making

This is not about panic. It’s about preparation, clarity, and confidence.

Preparation is an act of self-respect and responsibility, not fear. When you take time to understand systems, build backups, and develop practical skills, you reduce stress and increase your ability to respond calmly rather than react emotionally.

Confidence grows when you know you have options, plans, and support. Life After Debt is here to help you replace uncertainty with strategy, fear with understanding, and overwhelm with steady, empowered action.

Life After Debt is inspired in part by the ideas discussed by Peter Willson in Checkmate The Matrix. Peter is known for his focus and passion for helping others with debt, financial obligation, and how these systems affect personal freedom and so much more.

Debt: The Game You Were Never Meant to Win

Most people believe debt is a normal part of life — credit cards, bank loans, car finance, mortgages, and consumer debt.

But the truth is far darker: debt is a game, carefully designed to keep you trapped, confused, and paying forever.

The Truth About Debt and How It’s Created

When you take out a loan or credit card, the bank doesn’t lend you their money. They create it from nothing, using your signature and promise to pay. Then they charge interest on money that never existed in the first place. Sound crazy? It’s one of the most profitable deceptions in history and it’s happening every day.

The financial system runs on illusion and control:

Hidden terms buried in small print

Threat letters that use fear to make you comply

A system designed to keep you in the red while they profit

Once you understand the game, you can start to fight back.

How the Debt System Keeps You Trapped

Council tax. Parking Charges. Loans. Consumer credit.

Each one plays by the same rules and those rules are stacked against you.

The moment you fall behind, the system moves in: automated letters, agencies, penalties, threats. But behind all of that, there’s procedure and paperwork and when you know how to use them, you can start to turn the tables.

At Life After Debt, we believe true resilience comes from understanding, preparation, and shared knowledge.

Knowledge is protection. Preparation is peace of mind.

Learn the Rules - Build Real-World Resilience

Through education, practical tools, and a supportive community, Life after Debt aims to help you move from uncertainty to understanding and from reaction to strategy. Instead of feeling overwhelmed by complex systems, you gain structured knowledge, real-world frameworks, and shared experience that allow you to make clearer decisions.

This combination empowers you to reduce dependence on fragile systems, build alternatives, and develop confidence in your ability to adapt even when conditions are changing quickly.

You’re not just learning information; you’re building long-term resilience and the ability to respond calmly and effectively in real-world situations.

Build backup plans and alternatives

Reduce dependence on single points of failure

Strengthen household preparedness

Improve confidence in uncertain situations

Life after Debt aim to connect people with structured education and communities and our best advice is to join Checkmate The Matrix  a platform designed to help people understand systems, paperwork, and processes that affect everyday life.
